• Situation Unit staff are to advise Planning Officer of the need to factor the potential Red Flag situation into current and next IAPs.
• A suitable detection capability must be put in place, to ensure rapid detection should a Reg Flag situation develop.

DETECTED

• Situation Unit staff must immediately advise the Planning Officer of an actual Red Flag situation.
• Planning Officer is to assess affected sectors and work with Operation Officer to ensure safety of all crews in those sectors until conditions abate.
• Planning Officer to meet with IMT to review current and next IAPs.
• The situation must be carefully monitored
